The YouTube algorithm is great. I am always happy when some random indie song I recommend has a bunch of English comments with people praising the algorithm because virtually nobody is reading specialized blogs, but everyone is screwing around on YouTube (5 minutes spent watching Ginger Root is 5 less spent hand-wringing about the “manosphere”!)
That said, this is the first time I clicked on the spinning plums video because it was way getting way too pushy!
It's wonderful to see ExWHYZ featured so heavily on the 'This Side Of Japan' lists - they're such a fun and cool group, and I love how their sound is so routed in dance and electronic scenes, and even UK garage on their recent 80KIDZ produced track 'Floating Romance'.
It really is a shame they never blew up bigger (i feel like them being categorised as 'idols' has a lot to do with that, and put off many listeners who may otherwise have liked them) and it's wild to me that they're getting disbanded in a few months time when they still have so much untapped potential (their last few singles have all been gigantic bangers, sigh....)

I'm so delighted by the new Bullet Train release. Finally, they've topped the baguette sax!
