The afternoon leading up virtual singer KAF’s biggest solo show to date at Yoyogi National Gymnasium was a blur. From 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, when I sat down in the faux-tatami corner of the cafe tucked away in Harajuku Station to answer emails and catch up on small tasks, I was juggling a dozen small assignments. None of this came out of nowhere, but rather was the climatic moment of nearly five months of planning.
